Admission Process
At the World School of Bangladesh, we welcome students from diverse educational backgrounds, ensuring a smooth transition into our academic programs. Our admission process is designed to assess each child’s current knowledge and abilities while providing the necessary support to help them excel in either the Cambridge International Examinations or the English-translated National Curriculum.
Step 1: Application Submission
Parents begin by submitting an application form along with their child’s previous academic records. This helps us understand the student’s background and prior learning experiences.
Step 2: Placement and Aptitude Assessment
To ensure students are placed at the appropriate level, we conduct a placement test assessing their foundational skills in subjects like English, Mathematics, and Science. This is not a pass-or-fail exam but a way to personalize their learning path.
Step 3: Parent Consultation & Orientation
While we do not require formal interviews, we encourage parents to visit our school, meet the faculty, and discuss their child’s educational journey. This ensures a strong partnership between the school and the family.
Step 4: Admission Decision & Enrollment
Based on the assessment results and document review, students are placed in suitable programs that cater to their learning needs. Parents are then guided through the enrollment process, including fee payment and uniform collection.
Step 5: Transition Support & Learning Adaptation
Understanding that some students may need extra academic or language support, we provide transition programs to help them adjust seamlessly to our curriculum. We believe that no student fails; it is the system’s responsibility to support their growth.
